Our Story!
Hello Skin Hubbers!
My name is Miss Kevine, and I am your sisterly guide here at the skin hub, helping you make sense of your skin!
The Skin Hub was in-part inspired by my own personal skincare journey, which started in my early teens, where I struggled with severe acne! Having zero skincare knowledge led me to making catastrophic mistakes like popping my pimples (yuck!!), and applying burning alcohol on to my inflamed stressed skin(*cries*), and even using Clean & Clear (never-again!). Clearly, I had nothing under control!
I spent years suffering with the effects of my ignorance, dealing with severe hyperpigmentation, as well as dry, dull, flaky skin! This seriously affected my self-esteem, and I wanted to change it, I wanted to understand it, I wanted to make sense of my skin and glow like the sun-baby in the tele-tubbies!
And that was the beginning of my obsession with skincare, which led me to discover the wonderful world of Korean Skincare, and choose to study Cosmetic Science and Organic Skincare Formulation!
It has taken me over 15 years to make sense of my skin, and I wish I had somewhere or someone to guide me, which would have prevented me from making major mistakes. I also wish I discovered Korean skincare earlier, that way I wouldn’t have wasted time or money on products that just didn’t work!
I see so many of my friends, and family making the same skincare mistakes, and wasting money on products that will do nothing for their skin.
This is why I created to the skin hub, so I can share my love and knowledge of skincare to help guide you in making sense of your skin, as well as making the right skincare purchases for your needs, and experience first-hand the greatness of Korean skincare, that will 100% have you glowing like the sun-baby in the tele-tubbies!
